THE Startup spotlight was a success!
The Startup Spotlight, organized by Urban Tech Helsinki, is an annual event that shines a spotlight on our promising startups. This year, we were happy to join the Helsinki Lounge at the Slush conference venue. Selected startups showcased their innovations, connected with potential investors and stakeholders, and gained valuable exposure.
The event was hosted by Kamilla Sultanova, a dynamic event host and award-winning keynote speaker, who brings her expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion and her work with Finnish cities to the forefront of the urban tech space.

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and KIRA-kasvuohjelma partnered with Urban Tech Helsinki and announced a challenge for you!
The theme is simple – we want you to imagine the digital future of the circular economy in built environment. Robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, sensors, gadgets collecting data or doing the dirty and dangerous work – surprise us and yourself!
We will publish more details about the practicalities soon but be prepared to come to Helsinki next summer to test and develop your solution with us and our partners!
