Welcome our batch 6 of startups!

We are thrilled to introduce the dynamic teams joining us for Urban Tech Helsinki’s incubator program as part of our Batch 6 cohort! Let’s give a warm welcome to these nine innovative startups:

Benerg: Building scale biogas machine that converts food waste into electricity with remarkable efficiency. By using only 10 kg of food waste, we can provide enough electricity for 18 homes for a whole year. Our highly efficiency technology is patent-pending, scalable, off-grid, on-premise, and zero waste.

CeroHero: CeroHero is a sustainability-focused platform that empowers businesses and individuals to reduce their carbon footprint, with a particular emphasis on tackling Scope 3 emissions—those indirect emissions occurring across a company’s value chain. By offering comprehensive tools for education/climate literacy, tracking, and community engagement, CeroHero helps organizations meet environmental goals and enhance eco-friendly practices, all contributing to a greener future.

CodeMenders: In our daily lives, we often find ourselves waiting in line, wishing we could use that time more effectively. We’ve built tools to help with that. Jonoon.fi is an online queuing system that lets people secure their place in line, receive real-time updates, and arrive at the service desk just in time for their turn. NoutoAteria is another service that simplifies online food ordering. We’re now combining these tools to create a digital shopping mall, where customers can access services like barbers, spas, banks, and restaurants all in one place. This is the future of customer service because it brings convenience and efficiency to both businesses and consumers, making it easier to access multiple services seamlessly.

Inclusive Mobility: Inclusive Mobility aims to solve the mobility gap for people with reduced mobility across airports and cruise terminals. For this, Inclusive Mobility has built an MVP, with a main focus on B2C- Book, Pay and Use system, B2B- assistive device as a benefit, and a marketplace for Peer2Peer lending of assistive devices for global reach.

Lensor: Lensor is an early-stage Nordic startup building game-changing AI and remote sensing technology to create climate and wallet-smart solutions for global farmers. With our technology, we help farmers not only to reduce their environmental impact but to save valuable and expensive resources. We are on a mission to enhance resilience in agriculture.

Retake: Retake matches shoppers with clothes from their local second-hand stores—making it easier to search for something specific second-hand!

ScanwAi: ScanwAi is a company that provides digital solutions for the maintenance and monitoring of infra. Our intelligent AI-assisted digital solutions enable effective infrastructure maintenance and monitoring. The solutions are scalable for companies of all sizes, authorities, public services, and cities.

Wastelocker: WasteLocker provides accurate, real-time tracking of waste types to reduce, to report, and to achieve waste management goals – anywhere and visibly. Our secure waste-type object-detection technology and data-based education allows to reduce mixed waste and decrease contamination by up to 70%. From offices and public spaces to construction sites and apartment buildings, WasteLocker solves the waste management challenge.

WUUD: WUUD offers novel wooden cladding solutions for contemporary architecture. We aim to elevate the design of wooden wall panelling to the 21st century. Our first product, an embossed interior and exterior panel, is made utilizing an innovative embossing method that allows cost-efficient and sustainable production of three-dimensional embossed surface patterns. The method opens up new possibilities for using wood in architecture, making wood a more versatile construction material.
